terms and conditions
1. Waiver Form
You agree to sign a waiver form with The Pilates Fix.
2. Studio Policies
You agree to adhere to The Pilates Fix Studio Policies.
3. No Show Policy
If you are late by more than 10 minutes - or fail to attend the class altogether - the class will be deducted from your account as used and you will be recorded as a “No Show”.
Click here to view No Show Penalties.
4. Paying for Memberships
Membership fees are paid in advance, on a weekly basis, by direct debit from the bank account or credit card you provide for direct debit purposes.
5. Meeting your Requirements
You must ensure the account provided for billing can accept direct debits and that there are sufficient funds in your account on the payment day. If you need to change your nominated billing account or update account details (i.e., credit card expiry date) please give notice in writing a minimum of 72 hours before your next bill date.
6. Declined / Failed Payment(s)
You are liable for any fees resulting from declined/failed direct debit payments.
Failed payments that extend past one occasion will cause your account to be placed on hold and access to classes/private sessions will be removed until your outstanding balance has been paid and updated account details have been provided.
The Pilates Fix will make a reasonable effort to advise you on the status of failed payments by raising the situation as soon as possible - either in person, by phone or in writing to the email address in your client profile.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancelling Classes:
Clients are required to cancel class bookings a minimum of 4 hours before class starts - otherwise, before 9:30pm if you are canceling a 6:00am class.
Late Cancelation & No Show Penalties:
If your cancelation is within 4 hours of class starting or you no show, your class pass will be consumed. If you do not use your class pass before your next payment rolls over, that class pass/es is forfeited.
Unlimited Memberships
If your cancelation is within 4 hours of class starting or you no show, you will incur a $10 Cancelation Charge.
Cancelling Non-Fixed Term Memberships
Clients on a non-fixed term contract are able to cancel their membership anytime from their Member App. This will notify the studio and a 28-day notice period will begin. Once the 28-day notice period ends, your account & all weekly payments will end.
8. Can The Pilates Fix change your agreement?
The Pilates Fix may sometimes add to, change or remove Terms and Conditions. This includes changing opening and closing hours, services, facilities and membership fees. Sometimes, The Pilates Fix may also close for refurbishment to improve the facilities. If this substantially reduces our ability to provide our service to you, The Pilates Fix will reduce your membership fees accordingly on a pro-rata basis.
9. Account Pausing Policy
Unless serious injury or illness has occurred, or you are required to isolate at home due to COVID-19, we do not process account pauses. If you believe your circumstances are exceptional and you would like to discuss this with our team, please email the studio at hello@thepilatesfix.co.nz
10. Gift Cards
Gift cards can be redeemed at The Pilates Fix studio for private sessions or class bookings. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or merchandise products. Valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
The most up-to-date Terms and Conditions always apply. TPF will give you at least 28 days’ notice of any changes.
